My essential question is: Can students conclude that they want to pursue the medical field if exposed to healthcare knowledge in their younger years? Before unraveling this question, I must find the knowledge that the students must learn before discovering if this pathway is for the student. First thing students learn about healthcare are the basics. Who is important to healthcare history? What is healthcare about? How important are healthcare workers? What types of jobs are available? How much money can I make? The answers to these questions are usually what make students attracted to the pathway. So if we learn at a younger age what healthcare is all about, can we save time in the future by not wasting time learning about the pathway? My next step is to apply these basics to my middle school students, and see the progress of my question.
